Bio
Goldmoor aka Huj Purewal
I am first and foremost a Quantity Surveyor by profession, living and working in Royal Leamington Spa, England, UK. See my website Hpqss
I have had a passion for music ever since I was a child. I'm a Gen X so was brought up in the new wave electronic age of music from the 70s to the 80s. I'm a big fan of music from this era.
In the past couple of years, I have been learning the Piano and Guitar in my spare time. I purchased a Roland Juno DS-61 synthesiser last year, mainly as a hobby or just to experiment with tunes and it's amazing functions. But when I started to use a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) with it, I realised that professional sounding tunes could be made. I then decided to turn from listener to creator, turning my pre DAW synthesiser experiments into music.
The result is my first record released in August 2025, entitled 'Dark Matter Elegies' composed, recorded and produced at my home studio.
I have released two separate singles entitled '12' and 'Polaris' in December 2025.
This is a beginning of a journey for me and I expect to be releasing much more music in the future.
